Foil-wrapped products result in unstable bundles and place especially high demands on strapping. But with the SmartStrap series, Ferag is able to deliver a suitably flexible and secure processing system that can be configured in line with the user’s requirements.
The SmartStrap concept is based on the Q-module for the cross strap and the L-module for the longitudinal strap, with either right-handed or left-handed operation. The two mobile components can be used either separately or in combination as the need arises – and in the case of combined operation, in any order.
With SmartStrap, high production security is accompanied by easy operation. And with only a few moving parts, health and safety features are restricted to the area around the pressing beams, which are controlled by light barriers and pivot out of the way if necessary. So bulky safety devices are largely absent – to the benefit of compactness and all-round accessibility for operating personnel.
